Scholarship Information

It is time to start looking for scholarships.  Please look below for specific scholarships.  We will update this page as information becomes available.  There are also a couple of great places to look for scholarships.  They are fastweb.com, zinch.com, schoolsoup.com, and cappex.com.  These are big scholarship databases that will search for scholarships based on the information you submit.  It is suggested that you create a separate email account to use as you search these.  They are free and valid searches but if you use your main email account you will start to get a lot of spam.  Once you input the information you will start to receive emails regarding the various scholarships out there.  Don’t wait until your senior year to start this.  Students of all ages can start to look and apply.

Another great place to look is https://utahfutures.org/.  You will need your SSID # to access this.  If you don’t know your SSID#, see your secretary or counselor.

Some tips on keeping yourself safe as you apply can be found at http://www2.ed.gov/about/offices/list/oig/misused/sscams.html.  Don’t give out social security number or other information that puts your identity in danger.  Also, don't ever pay or enter credit card information to enter a scholarship.
